That's The Question... Photo Art Friday 1.11.13

I have had and am having a challenging week. I notice that this question is both pushing me and I pushing it. Up a waterfall in both cases, yet with the capacity to make me smile and remind me NOT to take myself so seriously!!!

This is such a beautiful presentation of Mary Oliver's words, Currie. Love how you have curved the text. Sometimes its the challenging times that teach us the most. (Hope the 'tutorial' is over soon!) :)

Hang on.

I like the way you've used two textures here as display for your thought provoking quote. The answer hangs in the air

Been awhile since working with textures. So after posting I looked for your name and submission. It is tenderly beautiful...love the underneath texture with words and delicate blossoms. Certainly not disappointed. Hope this week is better.

Currie, I could not say it better. There are moments like this. As the quote says, though it is our "one wild and precious life".
Happy to see you again, my friend. I've missed you.

Very nice Currie! Simple and pretty... I too had challenges and yes we all must take time to do some soul searching.. Stay well and inspired!

When my life becomes challenging, I tend to look inside. Who am I today and who do I want to be tomorrow. I work on that and the rest of the world slowly peels out of my way. I can only be responsible for my own choices ... I have no doubt that you will find the right answers, Currie. You are asking the right questions and you are thinking with your heart. Your Quote, as it is presented, is tender and thoughtful ... Best wishes for your success.

I am loving the work you are presenting lately Currie. This one is a lovely use of Bonnies texture, as for the quote...I have no idea right now. x I hope your weekend is happy and much less challenging.

Great piece. I like the texture paired with the berries (works very well together) and such a thought provoking quote.
Hope the challenges ease up a bit because quite frankly we all could use a break now & then.

Such a great question, Currie! One that I am often challenged by ... but one thing I know, I'm not living if I'm not being creative, so I will at least do that. ;->

I have definitely had a wild life and it does feel precious beyond measure to me. I shall continue to enjoy the ride each and every day. :):) I love that quote.
